Gwen Goodfellow (they/her) is a labor and 2sLGBTQIA+ organizer and advocate committed to building worker power and ensuring every worker can thrive with dignity, safety, and respect. As Co-President of Pride At Work, AFL-CIO, Gwen intends to strengthen solidarity between the labor movement and 2sLGBTQIA+ communities, advancing equity, inclusion, and collective action in workplaces, unions, and communities.

Within SEIU, Gwen serves as Secretary of the SEIU International Lavender Caucus, President of the Western Region Lavender Caucus, and President of SEIU 775's Lavender Caucus. They also serve as a Member on the SEIU 775 Executive Board, representing more than 60,000 long-term care workers across Washington State.

A member-leader for more than seven years, Gwen has helped organize caregivers around bargaining, legislative advocacy, and political action. Their leadership includes serving on the CDWA Bargaining Team, participating on Washington State's Rate-setting Board, organizing Caregiver Lobby Day, testifying before the Washington State Legislature, and advocating at the federal level to protect Medicaid, strengthen long-term care, and expand workers' rights. They are also an active Member Political Organizer, Member-to-Member Specialist, former delegate to the Washington State Labor Council, and a dedicated mentor to emerging union leaders.

Across every role, Gwen believes that strong unions and an organized working class are essential to achieving justice for all workers. Their work centers on creating a labor movement where 2sLGBTQIA+ people, caregivers, and other historically marginalized workers have the power, representation, and opportunity to lead, organize, and win together.
