Transgender Day of Remembrance
Especially on Transgender Day of Remembrance we hold in our hearts all of our trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming siblings who have been stolen from us through violence. Each year on November 20th we collectively take time to sit with the grief, the rage, and the heartbreak because each of their lives were precious.
As we reflect on how we honor our siblings' memory, we must defy those who want us to give into despair and hopelessness. We must dare to dream of a world where trans people are safe, cherished, and thriving, and every day recommit ourselves to organizing for that reality.
